Invoices and documents generated using BillBanao are not legal proofs of transaction. They are formatting tools for creating professional-looking documents. BillBanao does not verify the accuracy, authenticity, or legality of any information entered by users. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their invoices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BillBanao ("the Service"), available at billbanao.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

BillBanao is a free, browser-based invoice generation tool. It allows users to create, preview, and download invoices in PDF format. All data processing occurs client-side — we do not store, transmit, or have access to any user data.

3. No Legal or Financial Advice

BillBanao does not provide legal, financial, accounting, or tax advice. The Service is a document formatting tool only. It does not:

  • Verify the accuracy or legality of any invoice content
  • Guarantee compliance with GST, VAT, or any tax regulations
  • Serve as a legal proof of any transaction or payment
  • Replace professional accounting or legal software
  • Validate business registrations, GSTIN, PAN, or tax IDs

Users must independently verify that their invoices meet all applicable legal requirements in their jurisdiction.

4. User Responsibilities

By using BillBanao, you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for all content entered into invoices
  • You will not use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal documents
  • You will ensure your invoices comply with your local tax and business laws
  • You understand that generated documents are not legally binding unless authenticated under applicable law

5. Limitation of Liability

BillBanao is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service
  • We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in invoices generated by users
  • We are not liable for any legal consequences arising from misuse of generated documents
  • We make no guarantees about uninterrupted availability of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The design, code, templates, and branding of BillBanao are the intellectual property of BillBanao. Users retain full ownership of the content they create using our templates.

7. Paid Services & Licensing

BillBanao offers an optional paid upgrade (BillBanao Pro) which grants access to premium features while the subscription is active (₹49/month). The subscription auto-renews monthly until cancelled. A single license key is valid for use on up to 5 individual devices/browsers and includes encrypted cloud storage sync (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for safeguarding your license key and must not share or resell it. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway (Razorpay). BillBanao does not store your payment card details. By purchasing a Pro license, you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase and acknowledge that subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. Refund terms are outlined in our Refund Policy.

8. Fair Use, Abuse & Termination

You agree to use BillBanao and your Pro license lawfully. We may suspend or terminate access, revoke a license, and/or delete cloud invoices without refund if you violate these Terms, share or resell a license key, commit fraud, initiate an unjustified chargeback or dispute, or use the Service in a way that harms us or other users.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
